Irish Coffee

Skill required: Beginner
1 jigger Irish whiskey
1 - 2 teaspoons granulated sugar
Strong black coffee
Whipped cream, chilled1. Put whiskey and sugar into a pre-warmed 7-ounce goblet or coffee cup.
2. Fill to within 2 inches of top with coffee.
3. Stir until sugar is dissolved.
4. Top to brim with chilled whipped cream so that cream floats on top.
5. Do not stir after adding cream.
The true delight of Irish Coffee is obtained by drinking it through the cream.
Yield: 1 mug (Double, triple, etc for as many servings desired. I line up several mugs and make them all at the same time.)
