Quick & Easy Wild Rice Pilaf

Skill required: Beginner 1/2 pound sausage
1 (6 ounce) package uncooked long grain and wild rice
1 (4.5 ounce) can sliced mushrooms1. Place sausage in a medium skillet.
2. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown.
3. Drain and set aside.
4. Meanwhile, in a saucepan bring water to a boil.
5. Add rice and stir in mushrooms and sausage.
6. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
Yield: 4-6 servings
